Common Factors That Increase The Cost Of A Full Facelift
Types Of Facelifts
With age, the skin on your face begins to lose elasticity and wrinkles may start to appear. A younger, fresher appearance can be achieved by the removing excess skin and repositioning or tightening tissue, depending on the needs and goals of the patient. In many cases, a facelift may be combined with procedures such as liposuction, chin augmentation, or injectable treatments such as BOTOX®. The type of facelift performed and any additional procedures will affect the cost of surgery.
You can have full confidence that the cost of your facelift will include the highest standard of care possible.
Types Of Anesthesia
Some form of anesthesia is essential to almost every surgery, as it can provide temporary relaxation and decrease your pain. The type of anesthesia used will depend on the extent of the surgery as well as the needs and physical condition of the patient. Under general anesthesia, a patient will be completely unconscious and unable to feel pain. Under moderate anesthesia, a patient will be partially conscious and able to respond to the doctor’s commands. If a local anesthetic is used, a patient will be fully conscious, but will not experience any discomfort. The type of anesthesia used and qualifications of the professional who administers it will affect the total cost of a procedure.
Dr. Chhatre’s surgical facility was designed with patient relaxation and comfort in mind.
