Depending upon your needs and goals, Dr. Chhatre may perform a combination of procedures to help you restore an attractive definition to your face.
Brow Lift
Summit Plastic Surgery offers two kinds of brow lift procedures. During an endoscopic brow lift, Dr. Chhatre makes small incisions in the hairline, then uses an endoscope, a small straw-like camera, he detects and removes muscles below the skin that cause frown lines. Finally, he tightens the loose brow skin to get rid of forehead wrinkles. A bicoronal brow lift is performed in cases of severely descended or furrowed brows. The main difference is that in addition to the release and weakening of specific muscle groups, excess skin is removed and remaining skin is tightened along an incision across the top of the scalp.
Eyelid Surgery
Eyelid surgery can correct sagging upper eyelids and puffy lower eyelids. During the procedure, Dr. Chhatre makes small incisions hidden in your natural skin folds to remove excess skin, fat, and muscle. The resulting scars are incredibly difficult to see once the healing is complete.
Liposuction
Liposuction, or the removal of excess fat by use of a vacuum, is generally applied to the neck when conducting a full face lift. This helps to eliminate the “double chin” effect that can occur as we gain weight and age.
