What Is Halo
Incorporating two wavelengths, Halo targets the surface and depths of the skin simultaneously to effectively improve the appearance of skin tone, texture, fine lines, wrinkles, pore size and increase the skins reflectivity and glow. The Halo fractionated laser treatment is customizable per person to precisely target their specific skin imperfections, damage and concerns with limited downtime. While previous lasers couldn’t effectively treat all of these concerns due to the lasers either being too shallow or too deep, with the dual wavelength technology of Halo, we are able to address all concerns in one comfortable treatment.
We are able to achieve maximum results with precise treatments. Reduction and even removal of fine lines, hyperpigmentation(sun damage) as well as improved deep wrinkles and brightness of skin are some of the benefits to this one of a kind fractionated laser.
Halo Treatment
The Halo treatment is easy and comfortable. After an in depth consultation with our experienced Kansas City, esthetician, Kelsey, the proper settings will be determined for your specific skin type and concerns. An application of a specially formulated topical anesthetic is applied for around an hour, followed by the treatment which takes approximately 25-30 minutes. Following the laser the skin feels warm and is red for around 30 minutes, Unlike most fractionated lasers, the skin is intact and most activities can be resumed following the procedure. Slight to severe swelling is the only side effect that we see following the procedure and can be controlled with anti histamines and in some cases a small dose of a steroid. Most Halo clients report fully healed skin 5 days post treatment.
