What To Expect During The Procedure
At your first appointment with our team, we will perform an evaluation of your skin and hair to determine the best treatment plan, taking into consideration your specific cosmetic goals and the areas you would like treated. If you have been waxing or tweezing unwanted hair, you will need to switch to shaving for at least six weeks. The laser targets the hair in the follicle, so you must have hair growing for effective treatment. However, it is safe to shave the day before or day of your first session. The length of your treatment will depend on your skin, hair, and the amount of hair removal required. Most areas can be treated in six sessions, anywhere from six to ten weeks a part.
During the actual procedure, Kelsey, will administer the laser system. You may feel a slight zap, but most patients experience little to no discomfort throughout the experience. While you are undergoing laser hair removal, we recommend avoiding the sun for at least six weeks before and after each treatment in order for your treatment to be more effective and to protect your skin.
