Juvederm Voluma® is a Hyaluronic Acid filler designed to specifically correct the naturally occurring, age-related volume loss in the cheek area. Being a thicker HA, it is placed differently than the traditional Juvederm products used for lip augmentation or superficial lines. This filler is placed deeper into the skin, just above the bone to address the flattening and sagging of the skin. Designed to add volume beneath the skin’s surface, Juvederm Voluma® provides contouring and lifting instantly. Treatment
Once you’ve made your appointment for filler, you won’t regret it. You will meet with our talented, friendly and compassionate Aesthetic Nurse Injector, Rachel. Prior to starting your injection, she will talk with you about your specific areas of concern. Next, she will discuss all viable options with you as well as recommended number of syringes and if any other treatments are necessary to reach your desired look. During your thorough treatment, Rachel will apply a compounded topical anesthetic to the area being injected to aid in decreasing sensitivity to the injection.
While the results are immediate, there are some moderate side effects that we like for you to be aware of. These temporary side effects can be and are not limited to: tenderness of the injection site, redness, swelling, firmness, pain and bruising. These side effects are in no way permanent and subside anywhere from 1-3 weeks following the injection. If there is any post injection bruising, our esthetician can treat the bruise within a few days with our BBL treatment. This treatment targets the hemoglobin and will heat it to destruction. This will eliminate any unsightly bruising with no additional downtime.
Combination Treatments
