Juvederm

Juvederm is one of the most popular and recognized injectable fillers on the market today.  It has been offered at our MedSpa for over 10 years.  With a collection of fillers available, Juvederm offers a product for everyone.  All of their dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid(HA), which is a naturally occurring substance in the body. With several options available it can be hard to decide which filler is right for you.  Below we will break down the differences between the Juvederm products.

  • Juvederm Ultra XC– this is the original HA filler from this collection.  This is used for injection in the lips for added volume and shape. Ultra XC is also approved to fill smile lines around the mouth.
  • Juvederm Vobella XC– this is great for added volume and the correction of vertical peri-oral lines(lipstick lines).
  • Juvederm Voluma XC– this HA is great for cheek injections for facial contouring.  This corrects age-related volume loss.  With restored volume it will add a lift and contour to the face.

Versa

Versa is Hyaluronic Acid filler.  This injectable is used to fill the lip area.  Patients having this product have typically noticed longer lasting results with less swelling post injection.  With studies in over 300 patients, Versa has shown to be safe and effective for all skin types with no serious side effects.  We love the softness of this filler for the lip area, to add volume and correct asymmetry.  The end result is beautiful, soft, natural looking pliable lips.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a dermal filler designed to treat significant volume loss in the cheek area.    Contained of calcium hydroxlapatite(CaHA) microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel carrier.  Once injected, it immediately provides correction and volume to the areas of concern while continuing to work by stimulated the body to produce its own natural collagen.  Adding Radiesse to the cheek area or deep smile lines, will give long lasting contouring results.
